There's a lot of talk going on about balance, equilibrium, tranquility and so on as being important for well-being. Much more important for well-being and actually for vital processes to happen is imbalance, non-equilibrium. Because that is what creates a flow of energy: through your body, the atmosphere, in photosynthesis, your brain...anything i can think of. If everything were in balanced on the same level of energy, nothing would flow. Life would be impossible without imbalance and impossible without the tendency towards balance. Imbalance is in balance.
